Well, it’s about time I branch out – so this is me branching. In an attempt to learn about reviewing, event reporting, and ‘capturing the moment’ I volunteered to blog for the Writer’s Festival pre-festival and festival events. Throw in a few book reviews, and this is going to be a great expereince (not to mention some nice padding in the portfolio).

It’s a thrill to get involved with the local (international) writing community. I look forward to seeing just where this can take me, and what I can learn. Let the events begin!
